Sri Lanka Defense Ministry has served a detention order with effect from Tuesday till August 14 under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) on a Sinhalese woman, Kamali Krishanthi Perera, of Pamankade in Colombo, for allegedly providing accommodation to a suspected suicide bomber of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in Colombo, media sources said.
She was arrested by Wellawatte Police on the instruction of the Defense Secretary along with the suspected suicide bomber.
She was produced in Colombo court later.

| This is a good lesson for people who provide accommodation for unknown persons for money. |

Traitor!
NO way they are lovers!
She must have known that he's a 'hardcore black tiger', and even if she was sleeping with him, she still provided him accommodation, which means that she's a traitor to her country and race! She knowningly harboured a terrorist who was commiting crimes against her own race and country, which makes her a traitor!
If she didn't know about him being a tiger, then it's a different story... |

| Is she another Sinhala Koti? Not enough information to say so. In any case, even if she is, she is not the first and won't be the last. |

Good lesson for all for not being selective in business dealings. Sad, if she has done it for money, but the crime is a crime no matter what the intension were.
Don't you want to know information about the person whom you are renting your house in a situation like this? if you are unable to find information you need to go to the police and register the person and then do what's to be done with the transaction. |

Soon we could read items as follows,
Service station manager taken to custody for selling petrol to suspected LTTE supporter
Hardware stores manager taken to custody for selling nails and nuts bolts to LTTE supporter
General stores manager taken to custody for selling fire crackers to stranger!
and the list goes on and on,
but,
This is a good lesson for people who provide accommodation for unknown persons for money
yes, give it free!! |
