My GUESS is its more than 1 but less than 23- closer to 1 than the latter.
I read somewhere-maybe DW- its a tractor carrying food -not truck.
well these days Trucks become MBTS , Jeeps are APCs-
so a Tractor can become a Truck

It does not matter about the figure anymore..If Defence.lk gives a figure sinhalese will be saying it is the right figure and Tamils will do the same with Tamilnet.
Some sinhalese will say they have some relatives or friends in the forces and they know the truth..some tamils will say they have inside information from LTTE and they are right.It is simply goes on racial lines
what we all can safely say is this war is killing a lot of our YOUTH..and it will go on for a very long time...
Does it matter whether it is a Truck/jeep or Tractor..! sorry bakz it does not matter anymore |

Im surprised LTTE took some time even to lay a claymore mine. These type of attacks are to be further expected in desperation just to keep the presence.
But will East Elam a reality !! ? No
Enjoy the story Peezamists. I am yet to see this in international media or quite interestingly any photos that normally come even before operations are missing for this story.
i have been telling these guys that ltte will rely more on guerilla warfare in East and conventional and guerilla warefare in north.As long as ltte hold some land in north you guys cant win this war. so better to come for talks with ltte . otherwise more and more disasters sldf and sinhalese are going to face. use your brain and dont take any decision emotionally. VP has 30 odd yrs experience. dont underestimate their strength.act quickly to find out a political solution based on federalism. otherwise it is too late. i am again telling you 'please please please dont take decision based on emotional feeling'.
there will be no photo on this. only tamil will understand why it is the case.
