None of your kins 'love this nation' enough to go and fight? Preaching is different from dying. If you support the war and 'love this nation' why not join the SL DF instead of being a key board patriot. |

There is hardly any family in the North that hasn't lost at least one in the war. There are rich and poor, high and low castes and men and women fight for their liberation from the clutches of Sinhala elitist rulers. My elder brother was also killed.
Ex-president CBK said if conscription is introduced (forcing the rich and poor youths to join SLDF) the war will be over overnight because those who are elitists and make decisions in SL will not opt for war for fear of losing their children. This is the reality in the South. |
