If the stats are correct as per the article, what benefit does these migrants have? there is no such help and special benefit to them if they are accountable to the national grid by 36%? Only benefit is the NRFC account and that's it.

Even to take a loan from bank for a person working abroad there are so much of restrictions.

Hope this new policy will look in to those matters as well so migrants will send more money to the country.

Raigamakolla,
You are exactly correct. My dad said that she brought the brain drain mythology and banned many innocent country based qualified professional citizens leaving the country while sending her and relatives children abroad for higher educations. Megalomaniac lady ruin many innocent lives with the help with her administrative Buddhist and history stupid jealous graduates.
This is disgusting. Tell us do we have any national policies for our more critical national issues rather than this.!!

The missing soldiers always end up dead in the lTTE camps..and eventually gets returned to the SLA through the ICRS..so no need to make special mention... you guys need a bone to pick somewhere and it ain't working, dude.

Your crocodile tears for the 'missing' SLA is being wasted...you take the bodies to use them as propaganda...so why sound so concerned.

TO THE SAARC BIG HONCHO PARTY...

Because you are so special
and we haven't seen you for a long while
and we've been missing you soooo much
all your friends from all over have come specially to see you

There's the chap from over there
who even brought his toys to play with you

So we are sending your friendly airmen from Colombo
to fetch you to come and play

And so when you hear them coming
just climb out of that hole

and wave to your nice friendly airman
and we will all be happy ever after

By the way, don't listen to what dias-poras, dis-poras and dat-poras say
they are just jealous of you having new friends with noise toys..
