During Sirima's time, foreign exployment for ordinary people was banned. Only Bandaranayeaks and Ratwattes could travel.

It was late honorable ACS Hameed of JRJ government who created foreign jobs for our village people in millions. With the money earned in overseas, those people built better houses and bought a lot of capital items.

Now the SLFP government is turning screw on foreing exmployment. They are brining in all sorts of hurdles before ordinary people. Before long, MP chit (introduced for governemnt jobs by Sirima back in 1970s) will be required for overseas employment.

Small wonder, the economy is going down the drain.

New policy won't be any thing rather than a new way to loot money from those labour migrants who seek for a way to live their lives.....

Bereou, employment agents, foreign embassy in SL and medical test agent are looting them before leaving the country......
after they arrive their, employer, SL embassy there...etc are looting them there.......

a complete looted nation...... how the poor can survive...
