Liberation Tigers of Tamileelam (LTTE) recovered the dead body of a 18-year-old Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldier following intense fighting on Sunday in Ve'l'laangku'lam
GOSL needs to be sued for abducting children & making them as child soldiers.
No wonder Gotha is desperate to ask for more 20,000 soldiers while the desertors list is growing in SLA. |

this kind of things are small incidents when doing a WAR in large scale.....
I agree with Astro... loss of life is no reason to joy, regardless of Tamil or Sinhala!
But, the war itself will be the deciding factor at the end. The history of course is the best lesson.
When the first dominos started falling at the height of Jayasikuru, it took Tigers two long days to topple all the SLA dominos, all the way to Elephant Pass and beyond.
Now, reflecting that history lesson, the 1st domino of the present war fell in Mallavi on Aug 1st. Of course it will take more than 2 day to topple all SLA dominos, streching to Puttalam, on the Western plan, and Yala on the Eastern plan.
The TIC estimate to topple all of them, including Jaffna, is 100 year horizon!
But, how easy it was for the Tigers to over power 50,000 SLA front at Mallavi, gives the initial signal that Tigers will not need all 100 years to clean up the enemy from the Tamil homeland.
Of course if VP is tempted to use his WMD file up, the time can be shoetened drastically. But, by all likelyhood as of now, he may not use that option!

We expect loss of life in the war against Tamil Terrorism. However loss of few brave soldiers will not stop the ongoing Tamil Terror Decimation, but will enhance the remaining soldiers to fight more vigorously to terminate all Tamil Terrorists. It s SLDF who has forward offensive lines, capturing and clearing lands from Tamil Terrorism. Publishing of a dead soldier and few bags of ammunition and or weapons captured or perhaps planted to entertain Tamil Diaspora could be just to hoodwink and divert the headlines of the conflict. Dead soldier is a true picture, but the ammunition and the story surrounding the picture is very hard to believe. Well done Tamil Terrorists if they have captured usable weapons in these hard times. The whole article is for Tamils. Hence has no face value. Bodies of Tamil Terrorists dispatched through RED CROSS go unreported expect for Sankathihi Obituaries column for only Ranked Tamil Terrorists ...:-) |

some people wonder how come so many arms with only one soldier. people who live in foreign countries would not be able to understand this unlesss you are a tamil lived in North and east before. when there is a fighting taking place, on some occasions army suffer heavy casualties and they had do withdraw taking with them injured and dead soldiers. so some times they have to leave behind arms of injured sodiers when they are evacuating them in a hurry. this is the ground reality most keyboard defence analyst is unable to understand.:))
who told you there is unranked ltte carders killed. all ltte killed are ranked starting from 'veeravenkai' to Brigr..
veeravenkai is the lowest ranking for any ltte member.
