These prop driven planes cant be termed 'fighter planes'... all they've done so far is drop a few bombs here and there and if at all...you can call them bombers, not fighter planes
Indeed you give any name to these TAFs. But, one thing clear is that they have done their job. The very reason Indians brought this Destroyer and 3000 troops was to evacuate Indians in case TAFs would put up a 'show of force'!
defense.lk may have trumpted that a TAF was destroyed. That is not true. All 21 planes are intact. It will be only a matter of time when we see all of them in action on one dark night!
RAW had been tipped off by TIC about the possibility that TAFs may do some acrobatic. |

TrueNFare..more like a FAIR..
they provided the 3D radar to SLAF to locate low flying air crafts,this time LTTE will have no chance to take off.
the best thing that came out of this post
1)Last time the radar was there but did not work
2)Last time LTTE did do a lot of damage..

don't think defence.lk reported on the destroyed zlin but then again maybe they did.. i'm not sure :) dosai kade has lotsa disturbances...
If you really think TAF has done it's job... good on you :) investments by diaspora folks has had some effect
