Remember even when IPKF was there, there were transport of goods between TN & Eelam.
Long before LTTP, smuggling was rampant in the North.
those day, VVT had many jetties built into houses for Smuggling.
Jaffna and Trinco had many things that Colombo did not have because of smuggling business. |

It was the Hindian Navy commanders who have time & again refused to SUpport Sethu project. Without the efforts of CM Karunanidhi, do you think this project could have come this far ?
I can even show you links where even a Top Indian navy commander informed that Sethu canal may have security Implications & he was ordered to Shut his mouth ! |

Tamils are doing that by tamilizing the North and EAst. So, we have to sinhalize back those areas

What do you mean by back ? The Buddhism is not for the Sinhalese only, there is no evidence in the North East for the Sinhala identity alone. The Tamil roots of each and every name of the towns and villages can be proven by Tamil Etymology.
I think it is about time, the Sinhala racists should give up the unpublished thesis of Dr. Indrapala and look for some qualified historians to prove their claim of Tamil Home land. He was not a linguist or an etymologist. He didn't have any clue of Tamil roots of the names of the places in Tamil home land.
The Buddhist artifacts of the North East belong to the ancient Tamil Buddhists and nothing to do with the Sinhalese.

Chennai...the only true brains behind the ltte was the late anton bala...it was he who kept the ltte leaders little brain away from trouble...
bala is no more...
so you see the bull's dance in the 'china' shop...!
