Mendis' beat the bat ratio is much higher than any of the
four spinners bowled today.

Of the 108 balls that Mendis bowled, he induced false shots (beaten, rapped on the pads, edged) 22 times. His percentage of 20.37 was much higher than Murali (13.33%), Harbhajan (11.63%) and Kumble (9.46%).

Mendis had Gangley LBW according to the cricinfo commentator
but nobody appealed thinking it hit the bat first.

	Ando Bet TCK wasn't there .. lol . Cadet Camping was split to two groups and held at two venues in 1985. We were at Kingswood Kandy. That year we became 3rd. behind Royal college. and Dharmasoka College. TCK was 5th. Nalanda was 4th and Ananda was booted out for cheating. RSM was Levinsons Relative Shane Hevavissa from Maliyadeva.. Were you a cadet too ?

	Hajara50 My youngest sibling was the Commander of the Diyatalawaya Officers Academy in 03/04 I think as I had the privilege to share his bungalow for few days when I was on holiday and received salutes from armed guards mistaken as my sibling.Nice to see people associated to SLDF in LNP.Peasure to see your presence too Madam...:-)

	Jayantha Kumara of Army SC won the Layton Cup boxing title after being adjudged the best boxer at the Layton Cup boxing meet staged at the Sugathadasa indoor stadium this evening. Again Army....:-)
