Dauntless:

the tamil hero has go ridiculed from the whole world and also dragging decent tamils into that bad image...

I understand your message. I have said myself in this LNP that VP needs to be replaced sooner or later.

That day of course will come. That is why Tamil academics are now smattering a 100 year war! There are many merits to Tamils from such war, according to classified information.

After sacrificing the lives for 30 years, Tamils cannot go home empty handed!

Development official killed in DPU Claymore attack
TamilNet, Friday, 25 July 2008, 05:35 GMT

Deputy Planning Director of Poonakari (Pooneryn) division and a development official at Ki'iinochchi District Secretariat, Santhalingam Vimalakumar, 33, was killed Friday morning following a Claymore attack that targeted his motorbike at Kokkaavil in Oddisuddaan. Mr. Vimalakumar was on his way to Vavuniyaa on official engagement while he was attacked, according to officials at the District Secretariat.

The victim, also known as Mathan, was attacked by a Sri Lanka Army Deep Penetration Unit (DPU) at 7:40 a.m., Tamileelam Police officials said.

Vimalakumar was the president of the organisation serving the needs of government officials without land in Ki'linochchi district.

The attack on a DS official who was engaged in assisting the civilians comes at a time when all officials at district and divisional levels were engaged in serving the refugees arriving on a large scale exodus from Sri Lanka Army occupied areas of Mannaar district to Ki'linochchi and Mullaiththeevu districts.

Last month, Nagalingam Nanthakumar, Divsional Secretary of Thu'nukkaay division of Mullaiththeevu district was killed in a similar attack while traveling to his office.

there will be retaliation for this.

'After sacrificing the lives for 30 years, Tamils cannot go home empty handed!'

true. there's gotta be some form of political solution that answers legit grievances faced by people in those areas. I don't think that should be based on their race unlike what VP wants, a mono racial land for tamils. I'm sure government have plans to put forward such a solution cos when ltte is no more in absence of a political solution you can't stop another outfit like the ltte starting up again. sacrifices made by all sri lankans for this war against will be a waste if that happens. right now what ltte is asking is way too much than what they deserve...so they aint gonna get it. and fighting for something un-atainable is rather stupid don't you think. and calling such a maniac a 'tamil hero' is even idiotic IMO

Capn
automotive support services have grown quite a lot in SL now. hooking up a NOS system, remapping ECU and sprucing up y our wheels with performance parts is no biggies as long as you can afford the cost. many folks are running performance parts on their cars these days.
