Hi Sintamus,

In a response to the announcement by the UN Secretary General today that he has appointed Navanethem Pillay as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Foreign Office Minister Lord Malloch-Brown said:

Our good old intellectual, Gajalaxmi Paramasivam, Australian Jaffna Tamil, who advocates Sri Krishna/Machiavellian concepts to solve the Sri Lankan dispute,is certainly a better choice for the job, provided she changes her name from GajaLaxmi to Gajalechhami.

Won't you agree with me?

Tigers will shoot them as shoots on mad dogs.

withour SL Defence forces, Tigers have no job prospects. With whome they are going to fight? They need Army so that tey could tell Tamils about Bogyman stories and collect Kappam.

No army, no LTTE. Therefore the LTTE will keep the Army intact for their own survival :)

Nacho,
Conventional inputs paying off..seems LTTE running out of options.SLAF heading SLA by taking targets in Advance.

Troops closing in and Artillery less effective for LTTE.

India is sending war ships to anchor off Sri Lanka's coast to evacuate its delegates in case of any closure of the island's only international airport.

We will keep Iranamadu International Airport (IIA) open.

Singh is welcome to leave from there. Of course he needs to get Visa to enter Tamil Eelam. Or, recognize the statehood of TE. Then, he can use IIA!

Oh, man... many things could happen quickly!

Nacho, buddy:

The fact that the LTTE ran leaving 120mm artilery weapon behind is ample testimony to the defeated morale of the LTTE..

Looks like you too added some spice to the perhaps already spiced up SLA story....

(artillery mortar)

It is possible SLA found an unused mortar... not an artilery piece!

Only the Sinhala Muniyas are suffering from selective amnesia and the Indians didn't forget the bravery of LTTE and their heroic attack on Silly Lanka s only international Airport. :))))

Thlaivar,

The Army Commander Gen. Sarath Fonseka is highly satisfied over the successes against the terrorists in the outgoing year and said that the prime target of the military was to destroy the LTTE's presence in the North completely.

well obviously the target is to destroy the LZTP. ONCE again, where does it say they will be defeated by AUG 2008?

Thalaivar you dumbF, I seriously cannot be bothered to go over this again and again with you. It's like trying to teach trigonometric differentiation to a six year old.

Read my previous reply to you. That is all I have to say. Obviously it's heart breaking to see all that overtime you did being shot up and discarded on a daily basis so I understand that this is the only relief you filthy terrorists have left. Enjoy.

The Security Forces have occupied the LTTE's Forward Defence Lines and surrounded the Wanni LTTE bases from all directions. The Army Chief said that the LTTE could not prevent losing their remaining 3000 cadres and there is no assurance that the LTTE Leader V. Prabhakaran would survive for the next six months as the Sri Lankan Air Force plans to attack all the LTTE bases.

Therefore the three armed forces are confident of wiping out the LTTE, which is now smarting its wounds due to the present military operations.

The Army Commander Gen. Sarath Fonseka is highly satisfied over the successes against the terrorists in the outgoing year and said that the prime target of the military was to destroy the LTTE's presence in the North completely.

In an interview with the 'Sunday Observer' the Army Chief said that there are around 3000 LTTE terrorists remaining and that the military targets to annihilate them within the first six months of the next year. 'Our daily target is to kill at least 10 LTTE terrorists and for the last few months over 500 LTTE carders have been killed by the armed forces. We have weakened the LTTE by 50 per cent or more and we are confident we can go that extra mile in the coming year', he said.

according to govt information no of ltte killed have passed the 3000 mark. so as per sarath' estimate and and his plan to anihilate ltte within 6 months war should be over by now.
