Why don't you ask your government to allow the independent journalists to verify the victories?

What is the basis for your brilliant analysis? As long as your source is defense Lanka, we Tamils don t need to worry about your fantastic blabbering. The defense Lanka known to lie and exaggerate things.
The basis of my 'brilliant analysis' if you choose to call that is just - common sense
no one, not even tamilnet has denied the present front lines. This is fact
Just get the map and draw the line, and you will see for yourself
Cheap rhetoric comparing Mahinda to Milosevic (why change the subject? Of what relevance is this to the topic???) does not change what is essential fact.
So come back with something topical or relevant, minus the rhetoric, to challenge my analysis, and I will be happy to answer you.

Chingala Muniya does not get it. They do not know all of LTTE arsanal is intact, along with 95% fighting capacity. Plus the back up force in TN.
The Veerays will be screaming for help withing a few days or weeks, when TAFs, Black Tigers, See Tigers all get fully activated in simultanious attacks on the enemy! Fall of Jaffna and Trinco will be within a few hours on one dark night!
And the losses to the enemy could be the biggest since Mahawansam started keeping records! |

East has never been a strong hold of ltte for a conventional war and they wanted to limit the civilian casualty in heavily populated Jaffna.
I see that you've never put your head out of the hole in the ground it's been in. The LTTE is a GUERRILLA movement, ie, they do not engage in conventional warfare that much. And remember what happened recently to their first conventional regiment, the Charles Anthony Brigade? |

Al-Jazeera also had an embedded journalist with the army during the eastern conflict. Maybe he too was paid by the GoSL.
