Wat is Pillaiyan now demanding ? He is also demanding direct financial support From IC, Police Powers & all .

They are almost like that of ISGA.

That maybe why when they retreated from their bases they had forced the civilians also to vacate the areas. That is the crux of the matter. At a time the military is gaining the upper hand and approaching the outer circle of the Wanni the crafty Tigers knew that creating a human shield is more valuable than all the lethal weapons in their armoury. They did the same thing when the troops encircled Jaffna city and its environs. The fleeing Tigers had forced the civilians to vacate their homes to accompany them to the Wanni. This time too the Tigers have done the same trick.

Tigers have the habit of devouring humanity alive when it suits them but when the going gets tough they hide behind the remaining humanity to devour them later on when the fighting is over. That is exactly what is happening in and around the Wanni. The Tigers are using the civilians as a human shield to face the onslaught on the Wanni.

When there is a dispute between two parties, naturally they start from the Highest Position.

If you are genuinely interested in resolving the dispute, you have to give some & take some.

If not there is no need for peace talks.

Hajara,

Good morning to you too, it is the afternoon where I am!

During the CFA, the LTTE was allowed to conduct a lengthy international consultations resulting in the formulation of the ISGA. Not even for a minute, I deem the ISGA is a workable solution in the context of Sri Lanka, but feel that it was put forward by the entity that was purporting to represent the Tamils. It was to be their starting point for the subsequent negotiations.

On the other hand, the LTTE is an unelected representatives of the Tamils attached to the Vaddukoddi convention on which the TULF scored a landslide victory. This Pirabhakaran s mandate, and to him that Tamils had spoken, and they want a Tamil Eelam. A lot of water had flown under the bridge sense, and Tamils are far willing to settle for a political compromise, and there are no credible leaders to execute that wish. However, by contrast, the GOSL is an elected body that suppose to represent all, not just the Sinhala Buddhists, needs to manifest their resolve to bring this dreaded issue to a close. The Sinhala polity, first and foremost must unite on this issue and offer a viable proposal and engage all stakeholders sincerely, and it is not too much to ask from an elected body, is it?

Once there is a consensus among the Sinhala polity, Prabhakaran would feel the pinch.

dont worry...the 83 wont happen again in near future...not bcos the sinhala racism is changed...it is bcos of the LTTE.

The '83 riots were because of the LTTE's murder of SL soliders in Jaffna! The LTTE was the main reason behind the riots, which got out of hand because of some actions of ill-minded people! The LTTE has tried many times afterwards to try and replicate a similiar situation as Black july, but have not been successful!

It's very funny to imply that riots like in '83 will not be repeated because the LTTE are around! It's more like the possibility of riots are higher because of the LTTE!

Only if the singlecelled guys know how to think & have the intelligence to read what is going on in the intelligent circles of RAW & tigers, they would not behave like this.

Who else but a Gas attendant is leading the war & he lets only hot gases & no substance.

When DPU killings of Eelam were retaliated in Kind by tigers in COlombo with use of Ellalan force, the DPU killings on the vans & buses stopped.

Can you understand why ?
