I conclude with this note that, The LTTE will never be crushed but can be made benign through a viable political proposal.
I made the above statement not because of my believe of LTTE's military prowesses, but because of deep rooted feelings among the Tamils at large that, they have been wronged. This is why, at the dawn of the 25th anniversary of Black July, there have been many rekindling articles etc manifesting that entrenched feelings, and this will be enough to carry the flame of LTTE for years to come. |

I suppose, what I am on about is too much for you to grasp, unless of course, you know the score that the Sinhalese will concede less to the Tamils if the LTTE is crushed!
Yes, you are right. I do not have the brains to 'grasp' what you are saying. I am but a person of mediocre intelligence.
However, for a person who has the grasp of everything, you seems to have surprisingly missed my response to Mahadev. I never said those two gentlemen where terrorists (far from it).
If it does not tax your highly evolved cranium, then I urge you to kindly read my response again.
Thanks.

Nacho,
what is your view on this Article ?
It seems MR was treated Shabbily by India when he tried to land in Delhi but was sent to Pilgrimage to Thirupathi.
Delhi asks Lankan VIPs not to come unannounced
The Indian Government has advised the Sri Lankan government to abide by protocol when politicians visit India to avoid any ununcomfortable situations.
India s External Affairs Ministry, in a special missive to the Sri Lanka s New Delhi mission, has said that many Sri Lankan ministers arrive in the country without prior notification. India has called for an immediate end to this practice emphasizing that visitor security would depend on notice given to External Affairs Ministry.
Informed sources said India had warned that a minimum of seven days notice was necessary before such visits.
The Office of the Foreign Relations and Protocol Office of the Sri Lankan Parliament recently informed all members of Parliament to adhere to the Indian advice
The Indian directive came hot on the heels of a high level Sri Lankan delegation visiting Tirupathi and Puttaparthi in Andra Pradesh recently. |

Sinthaka,
Ok, I take your point that I did not see your response. However, your previous post was revealing indeed.
Of course they are not LTTE supporters, but at the end of the day, their agenda indirectly helps the LTTE.
Please explain as to how the views and publications of these two gentlemen indirectly help the LTTE?
It is a widely perceived view by many intellectuals including Jeyadeva Uyangoda that, a viable political proposal would go long way to weaken the LTTE without even firing a single gun. Now tell me your thinking behind that statement. |

The time when VP decided got greedy
Remember WHen CFA was there, GOSL strengthened Economically, Politically & Militarily while tigers were losing .
Watever money that you are spending on the war efforts is only due to the Strength that CFA provided.
It is better to take an opponent who never delivers Justice when is strengthening himself than when he is fully strong.
If Prabha were greedy, then he wont be waging a tough battle for last 30 yrs. |
