Baks

750k on 55 litres average. Pretty good considering the full load and the speed avg of around 120kmph.. plus around one third of the trip was through the northern Appalachian mountains in New Brunswick..

Really enjoyed.. beautiful landscape and loved the 7200rpm red line and the manual gear box :)

Five EPDP cadres arrested in the case of murdering and burying the father of two children who was suspected to be an Pillayan supporter is investigated before setting him free. The EPDP leader Devananda demands his cadres be set free or else he would withdraw support to the govt.

Sinthaka,

Sorry for belatedly replying owing to the time difference.

It has been well documented, many Sinhala scholars, about the root causes of Tamil Nationalism and how it is inextricably connected to the failed state. How a state like Sri Lanka failed and the countries of the likes of Singapore and India blossomed? Now, how one concludes as to why Sri Lanka failed in their quest to build a nation? The evidences are manifold pointing to the recklessness of the Sinhala Buddhist Hegemony.

Albeit the physiological impossibility of a new born to post at LNP, I however think that you share certain characteristics that are common with a Neonate.

:))) I rather have such characteristics and work towards building a nation of subjects than supporting to create the Tamil version of the Sinhala Hegemony in the Tamil Areas!

You have the audacity to characterise others as neonates when you adamantly bestow prehistoric mentality that is to recklessly prosecute the war with the all ills intact!

Yes, this country has everything ranging from extremists to moderates to racists to traitors! Just like any other country, it comes with the whole package. If you want to find a country without these elements, then I suggest you try out Mars!

Yes, I agree 100%, but I have not been talking about the others, but about you and your stance on the national question, and would like to know as to how you categorise yourself? Are you a moderate, extremist, racist etc?

And thank for you kind concern about the men manning those frontlines.

Yes, I am very concerned because I know the pain that the peoples are going through. My family and I have been going through such pains since the mid eighties!

I am in Colombo and very much in touch with the grimness of this war. I need not be preached on its realities by someone who is far away across the seas and does not seem to possess an iota of an idea of the of the actual situation.

:) I still say it to you that, you have no idea of pain as you have never faced it. Do you know what it s like loosing your own kith and kin? You know what, I may be far away but the pain is still fresh as ever!

You are hell bent on re-establishing the Sinhala Buddhist Hegemony throughout the nation and there is no doubt about it!

It is interesting to see how you are still resorting to the same rhetoric without taking any effort to verify the facts. However, I cannot blame you for that. It is indeed unfair to expect you to do something those so called Sinhala scholars (of the likes of Dr. Kumar Rupasinghe, Dr. Brian Seneviratne, Dr. Jehan Perera etc) have never attempted.

For example, it is not difficult to find rhetorical bashing of Sinhala Buddhist deer skin by these so called intellects for brining in the Official Language Bill of 1956. However, what is more difficult to find is a proper explanation to why Tamils got panicked when Sinhala is made the official language, especially having shown no such epileptic convulsion towards English which remained Sri Lanka s official language for more than a century.

Mucha,

Good to know that you are still alive and kicking! What would poor confused Sinhala young minds do without your reassurances!

You harp on about the rhetorics of the other, but you do not fail to utter your own ones! It is a pity that you do not understand the complexities of ethnicities and let alone understanding building a nation!

I am afraid that the task of Nation Building is a strange phenomenon for you, and its better for all concerned that you and ilks stay away from it.
