Rasak

dont feel bad that no one is willing pay ransom for your sake.

that happens for guys who own prime land & have fixed deposits.
so its never a problem for you is it???? thats why you are so happy when some tamils are abducted & ransom demanded.

I do not know about Jegan, but Pakiasothy is not a support of LTTE. He talked on behalf of the people most of the time as far as I know!

Sinthaka,

To you, anyone who talks about a political solution is terrorist. I am afraid, to a Sinhala Buddhist Chauvinists it would seem like that!

The fact remains that, the Sinhala polity is collectively still not ready for a political compromise. The article has not at all mentioned about a separate state, it talks about a political solution. No, we need to crush the LTTE, this is your motto, and a weak and narrow one in every sense of the word!

Many folks are being killed both Sinhala and Tamils to satisfy your quench for blood, and at the end of the day, there will never be peace until the LTTE has been made irrelevant to the national question. This scenario will never come about by trying crush them, but only by building consensus. Such a scenario will deem the LTTE in a serious quandary, as the they played games with the Sinhala disunity.

I suppose, what I am on about is too much for you to grasp, unless of course, you know the score that the Sinhalese will concede less to the Tamils if the LTTE is crushed!

I conclude with this note that, The LTTE will never be crushed but can be made benign through a viable political proposal.

Guys,
When peace comes back, whenever that is, please make sure never to forget this event. And teach your kids of it.
Many of us here, who were then living in SL, lost friends, neighbours and colleagues to this violence, and to the hell that followed.
I was 14 and on the way home that day. Burning shops, vehicles and mobs stopping cars asking people whether they were sinhala or tamil. I could not imagine what it would have felt to be a tamil person going through that.

Never forget!!

so you can understand why the terrorist prabaharan is the leader of tamils still....even sarath fonseka declared that tamil nationalism is still there...the leader of tamil nationalism is prabaharan.

Of course, in Sri Lanka, wihich may be named Sinhaliztan, the leftover Tamils may celebrate it in secret, because of fear from Sinhalese. But, It will be a national holiday in Tamil Eelam!
