declaring CF do not mean any party is weak..
Well at the moment it s just pure common sense.
so you think, the ltte is weak therefore they declared 10 days CF??
if so the case why not ask them to declare CF for life?? |

Yes, Srilanka was once a soverign country and then it was invaded by south indians and then liberated by srilankans. It has happened before. :)
Now some of the remnants of those invaders trying to establish their rule and it will be liberated once again. History is repeating itself. :))) |

overwhelming fire power will be used to neutralise sla formations and battles in east will erupt at the same time /

Say what??? thats right. The LTTE are in control of the East. They never got kicked out of madhu and most of the west coast. Vidalthivu never fell and is tiger hands. Mankulum will never be attacked, and the SLA will not lay siege to Muluthiv. Tamilselvan, Balasingham and Charles are all still alive. Velu is the sun god. All of the above is true. All is well. No, 'Piranha' .. Not an year or two. This is a different kind of war, to the one's you are referring to.
SLA is 'pushing' the LTTE to fight the 'conventional' battle. It has a certian structure and order (grouping & massing).
SLA is able to call upon the SLAF at the 'right' time, and deliver devastating 'knock-out' punches. (Remember they have 'precision-delivery' FABs and other 'nasty' stuff, which can 'take-out' huge numbers in seconds .. not years).
Wait and See .. you will be 'enlightened' to eventualities, you could not have imagined.

Yes LTTE was on the offensive starting from Mavilaru, Habarana, Troop carrier at Trinco seas, Gotabaya attac-k and Sarath Fonseka attack. Yes they also attacked in yala, small navy post in one of the jaffna islets. Not to mention numerous bus bombs and claymores. Yes, LTTE was on the offensive. But when the tide turned against them, they had no choice but go on defensive. But, I think LTTE is planning for a final assault which would be make or break attack.
so you think Dewey the ltte is also on the offensive as well as the gosl but the gosl winning against the ltte and the ltte is weaker now??
and you agree this is a final war to make up or break up.. right??
the Q is ,how many times more in the future fonseka will have to extend the dead line to defeat the ltte??
