Thlaivar,
The Army Commander Gen. Sarath Fonseka is highly satisfied over the successes against the terrorists in the outgoing year and said that the prime target of the military was to destroy the LTTE's presence in the North completely.
well obviously the target is to destroy the LZTP. ONCE again, where does it say they will be defeated by AUG 2008?
Thalaivar you dumbF, I seriously cannot be bothered to go over this again and again with you. It's like trying to teach trigonometric differentiation to a six year old.
Read my previous reply to you. That is all I have to say. Obviously it's heart breaking to see all that overtime you did being shot up and discarded on a daily basis so I understand that this is the only relief you filthy terrorists have left. Enjoy.

| Diaspora wants action. LTTE trying to survive. But, since shareholders demand action, they have to deliver. Their action may send the company bankrupt. Tough choice for Velu. |

There is no shortage of sinhala pundits writing the last chapter for the LTTE on this forum lately.
An organisation that fought with bare hands and sheer determination and dedication for thirty years against all odds a vastly superior state military machine will not crumble and disappear in a year or two.
That is wishful thinking and is never going to happen in a million years. So you all armchair pundits can roll up your predictions of doom and gloom for the LTTE and shove it up your ar*eholes pronto.

what diaspora wants simple keep the military expenditure for GoSL as same or more , so the GoSL simply go banana tomorrow , the world knows the status of GoSL and the MONEY MATTERS , once the hands are dry and empty the GoSL will beg for CFA , the sinhala regime will collapse on its own and few people will escape to US with existing green card and citizenship . |

The Indian Navy is in Sri Lanka with a strong force that includes the elite Black Cat Commandos for the SAARC Summit. Indian PM Manmohan Singh is to arrive in the island in two days. Indian spy satellites hover over the Vanni, observing the progresses made by the Army for unknown reasons.
ooops, Indian spy sats over wanni, now TAF will shoot them down for sure, all SLAF UAVs were shotdown at point blank range by TAF pilots using micro pistols. Indians will learn a lesson this time. |

MI units recovered 5 claymore mines, dry rations, explosives and other armaments from the Tamil village of Salpe Aru. By last week, Intelligence units had captured five of the LTTE 'Deep Penetration Unit' cadres from various safehouses.
there goes another 'innocent' civilians in a white van. those claymores were taken to study and educate people on how to identify them, not for attack. these social services were demonstrated on public busses, by actually placing the bomb, if any one finds it they are the heros, if not,,, its becos of their fault.. |

With a strong likelihood of an LTTE counter-offensive in the horizon, the Sri Lanka Army recently upgraded its electronic warfare capabilities with the latest Electronic Weapons Locating Radar systems available in the market.
This crucial upgrade is an important one considering that the casualties during the most recent LTTE attacks were caused by trajectory weapons, i.e. Howitzers, Mortar Bombs and Multiple-Rocket Launchers.
The Army has taken steps to establish special units in Jaffna and at other crucial locations in the Vanni equipped with these systems procured from a friendly Asian country. The radar system, developed and maintained by that country is said to be equal in its abilities to the AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder Radar systems developed by the United States (Raytheon), but less expensive.
Best Equipement for the best Army against Terrorism. way to go! |
