So-called strategists in LNP are forgetting the 8,000+ diehard Tiger Battalion ready to zoom in to Vanni any time. Once they start attacking the cornered SLA from Western seaside plank and Puttu's battalions start counter attacking from A9 plank, SLA will have no place to run! The losses to SLA could be historic!
so the LZTP are going to attack from the western PLANK are they???? Well when the SLA attack from the Eastern FLANK, I'm sure the LZTP can call in GPS guided Takaran Air Force planes (with road map included) then they can carry out Operation Tiger from the A9 PLANK. LMAO #:-DDD

Rasiah Ilanthirayan told The Morning Leader, soon after the organisation announced a unilateral ceasefire between July 26 and August 4, to coincide with the summit.
Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse said that the Tiger announcement was an indication of the organisation s military weakness and the government was not going to fall for its ploys.
'Government won t enter a ceasefire when the LTTE is militarily weak,' the SMS news service JNW quoted the Defence Secretary yesterday morning.
Leader of the House and the head of the government delegation to the last round of peace talks with the Tigers, Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva told parliament last afternoon that the government was not ready provide a weakened LTTE 'oxygen' by entering into a ceasefire.
The Tiger announcement however said that they would resist military action by government forces into areas under their command despite the temporary truce.
'If the occupying Sinhala forces, disrespecting the goodwill gesture of our people and our nation, carry out any offensives, our movement will be forced to take defensive actions,' it said.
Ilanthirayan told The Morning Leader that developments in the near future would indicate whether the Tigers were militarily weak or were engaged in tactical military manoeuvres in the northern battlefront.

MULLAITTIVU: Troops gain control of 3km south of MALLAVI area MULLAITTIVU today (24). Due to the heavy attacks made by the troops, 25 LTTE terrorists were killed and large numbers were reported wounded. Meantime troops recovered 7 dead bodies of LTTE terrorists and also recovered the following war materials.
120mm Heavy Mortar Gun 1
81mm Mortar Guns 2
T 56 assault rifles 5
Tractor 1
Motor cycles 2
Communication equipment 4
Binocular 1

A battalion consists of around 1000 Soldiers not 8000 Terrorists. OK??? I hope that wasn't too embarrassing for you. |
