Hajara,
The GOSL for its part is shaky and has to depend on ultra nationalists for its survival and hence not in a position to cater to every need of the tamils. So where do we go from here? It ends up with war war and more war. Pity.
I said this scenario to Sinthaka above, I ask what is the difference between MR and VP as they both want to survive! In fact, if you take the war away, this government has no leg to stand on, and the war is the only way to prolong their regime. Isn't this reckless from an elected politician, and what else can one expects from an unelected VP? |

Ariyalai
What reality are you referring to? Is it the fact that LTTE killed the Tamil politicians or the fact that, the successive GOSL of Sri Lanka had no political will to resolve this issue?
The reality is that Tamils like you continuously fail to see the reality.
Tamil intellectuals are killed by the dozen and you still except the Govt to negotiate. Negotiate with a brick wall perhaps?
I am well aware of this little game some Tamils play....its called the 'balancing act'...try to 'balance' LTTE's work by conjuring or hallucinating various counter arguments.
:)))))))))))
