Female LTTE suicide cadre nabbed

A female LTTE suicide cadre has been arrested from the Horana area. She was nabbed at around 10.00 am today.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekera said the 34-year-old woman Balasunderam Sauwathy has received training from the LTTE outfit to carry out suicide attacks. This was revealed when she was interrogated. The Police believe that she may have been spying in the area under the guise of a garment factory worker. The Police Media Spokesman said she is being continuously grilled. He is optimistic that more vital information can be secured during further interrogations.

I wish every law-enforcement office could be rewarded for their hard work. None of the security personnel retire rich. They take so much abuse for a small salary! |

I wish some top official stopped this practice of announcing these captures this early. The American FBI keeps quiet for Months of their arrests , because they do not want to alert the accomplices.
This news should not have been published until everyone in her group is captured. Now other terrorists know to hide. It is foolish to give away the element of surprise like this |

I read the manager of this garment factory was a former SLA, women corp - captain.
I think this suspected suicide bombers plan should have been to get close to the manager first and by that means get close to the prime minister.

'continuously grilled' is the kind of term I like to see, but with what? I suggest red-hot irons up the ......to remind her the pain would have caused to her victims and their families if she had acted on her plans.
