4 TMVP members arrested at Pollonnaruwa for extortion

Four members of TMVP who had collected extortions from rice mill owners were arrested by Polonnaruwa police yesterday (21st). They were apprehended while fleeing after collecting extortions.

The group had visited several rice mills, threatened the owners with weapons and had asked for Rs.200,000/- as extortion from each mill owner. When the mill owners refused to pay extortion money they had been assaulted, looted the coffers and the extortionists had fled taking the telephones of the mill owners with them. The extortionists had attacked several rice mills and among them were Madheena Rice Mill, Leela Rice Mill and Manzoor Rice Mill.

When the mill owners complained to the police the extortionists were apprehended at police check point at Polonnaruwa while they were travelling in a three wheeler. When they were interrogated the weapons brought by the TMVP members were unearthed.

When 'Lankatruth' inquired from mill owners they said TMVP members had, on several days, broken into their mills, threatened them with weapons and extorted money saying they were Pilleyan's group.

When we tried to contact the Inspector of Police at Pollonnaruwa regarding this incident we were told that he had gone for inquiries of the relevant incidents. Meanwhile, a police officer who wished to remain anonymous said already there was pressure from the top authorities to Plonnaruwa police to release the members of TMVP.

Indian rupee to be paramount in SAARC region?

Proposals have been put forward for a common currency within SAARC region. The proposal for a common currency has been put forward as a move for development on regional solidarity. Those who promote a common currency in the region say it would have the same effect the the Euro has in the European Union.

Reliable sources indicate that Indian currency would be the choice for a common currency for the region as India is considered and acts as the biggest power in the region.

However, many political analysts say the proposal is another move by India to dominate the region politically, militarily as well as economically. Several political parties and civil organizations in Sri Lanka have pointed out that India is trying to make Sri Lanka an economic colony of India by attempting to get the CEPA agreement signed and having several large scale projects in the Eastern Province.

What math do you want to test. I am sinhala. Try me.

Do you wanna be in Hilbert space, Liouville space or Banach space?

Ask this from sarath F. You all belive is counts.
I don't want you to use wavelets, signal processing to calculate 100+2+3=105.

OK-here s one for you to solve/xplain

A corner analogous to an angle right? (2D)
You have the angle bounded by the two lines and the rest of the space (2D)

Certain great LTTE minds seen to use the inverse of this.
The cornered ones are outside the two lines and the guys doing the cornering are inside the lines. Or is there another curled up xtra dimension-in Eelamic space?

Beyond my singlecell or whatever left of it!
