Ceasefire means no killing or destruction.
The govt has demonstrated that it will go on killing Tamils and destroy their livelihood.
By calling off killing at least temporarily will show that during the period of the SAARC Summit the govt has committed for a peaceful environment to emerge. But NO, the Defense Secretary is hell bent on killing and score propaganda victory by black out of what he does in the North and East but broadcast what DPU does as that of LTTE. |

So you want to encourage killings?
Are you also supporting the killing during the riots in 1956, 1958, 1977, 1981, 1982 and 1983? Where do you stop? OK you have nobody in the battle front to get killed. Is it a good enough reason to kill and get killed? Have you and Gotabaya Rajapakse got the right to kill the army soldiers just because they happened to be the sons of poor Sinhalese? Don't they have a right to be alive like you or Gotabaya? |
