Four representatives of the European Union Parliament arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (20) for a 6-day visit.
During their stay, they will be visiting the Eastern province to assess the ongoing development activities in the region.
According to the TMVP sources, the delegation headed by its Chairman Robert Evans, Socialist Group member of the UK, will meet with the newly appointed Eastern Province Chief Minister, Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan on Wednesday.
Following their visit to the Eastern region, the representatives are scheduled to address the media in the capital Colombo.

In the past they used to go to Vanni and talk to LTTE directly. But now IC has learned that LTTE is not the representative of Tamils, so they ignore the LTTE and talk to the Chief Minister. Good progress !

| Representation of the different communities are determined by their elected MPs. TNA has got 22 of the 24 Tamil MPs representing North and East. Pillayan is the puppet CM appointed to voice the interest of the hegemonic regime of Rajapakse brothers. He might be sacked tomorrow or his EPC could be dissolved by the supreme master Rajapakse. |
