If you read the statement, they are implying that they already have a country :Tamil Ealam.

News for citizens of Tamil Ealam, your territory is shrinking by the day. You better get Sri Lankan NIC. Prabha already have his one.

Tamizh05,

i will tell something before end of this year.

Let me guess, you will tell me what the GoSL's feet taste like.

Don't worry, judging by this article, the LTTP will let us know by tomorrow.

It seems 'white pigeon' is currently making white flags.

Thamil05,

There is a difference in imaginary country and a internationally recognized country. You you can dream for another year and send some more money to LTTE. Thank you for your contribution to kill citizens of Sri Lanka. THANK YOU.

Terrorist state always find ways of prolonging the war in order to destroy the country.

Those who introduced Sinhala Only Act also was misguided but never realised that enslaving and discriminating people would lead to alienation and inevitable enmity among the communities and destruction.

Whenever there is a chance to make peace the state is ill advised to prolong the war until the SL DF is bruised. History repeats and misery continues.

Good move on the part of tigers since they dont want Eelam to be excluded from Future Saarc meetings.

The LTTE on Monday night declared unilateral ceasefire from July 26 to August 4 keeping in mind the SAARC summit.

LTTE political head B Nadesan said the Tigers will not undertake any attack when the 15th SAARC summit begins on July 27 here.

The LTTE in a statement said, 'we wish the SARRC meeting all the success'.

Stating that their's liberation struggle, the LTTE said they had no enmity with anyone. The LTTE had earlier signed ceasefire with the government in 2002 which was called off by the Sri Lankan government early this year as the hostilities between the two sides were continuing unabated.

The Sri Lanka government last week decided to set up 'High Security Zones' in and around Colombo to provide foolproof safety for top leaders who will be visiting the Lankan capital to attend the summit.

I don't know why the LNP terrorista are getting excited about this news. The LTTP terrorists are going to get the same answer they got about 'peace talks'. Disarm and you can have a ceasefire, otherwise it is the duty of the armed forces to liquidate these filthy terrorists from our country.
