that area west ofomanthai is the buffer zone before ltte main fdl which is awell known fact in all military circles.

many expected the ltte to fall back after afew weeks of fighting to thier main defences at puliyamkulam.[in this area alone ltte have put out of action more than 15'000 sla.

[sla have tried to capture palaimodai area west of omanthai for the last 16 months but has failed/see defence lk map which shows the area still under ltte control.]

[this is defence in depth/tire out the enemy]

There is no meaning with this ceasefire unless ellalan forces too announces one.


Exactly.. That is why SLDF should continue pursuing the elalan force terrorists in killi.

Pallalai, Trinco rental periods are long past. The trespassers will be sent back to South very soon! MR should negotiate evacuation plans with Singh during SAARC. Especially if GOSL does not accept this ceasefire offer!

the reason is he is against ltte and he was successful in bringing ban on ltte in other countries and he was against tamil cause/struggle.
