If LTTE fail to show up during SAARC that will distance them from Diaspora.
Worst case, Karuna or Duggie will arrange some compliments. |

The cease fire is purely a preventive, political move. The LTTE doesn't want the Sinhalese to pull another Rajiv Gandhi on them.
Especially, Pillaiyans' killer squad is under the control of Rajapukse mafia. They can easily kill a head of state and blame it on the LTTE. They just don't want to give that chance to the Sinhala killers again, that's all.

I am a Tamil, and the Tamils are LTTE. They are not mercenaries.They are our brothers and sisters. Therefore, only we can understand their motives and intentions.

| Who can believe this ruthless terrorist organization. They gave an assuarnce they will not harm Lakshman Kadiragamam and after one week he was assassinated. Similr assurance was given to the former minister FernandoPulle but killed him in two weeks. I think they want to attack certain VVIPs and by just declaring unilateral ceasefire they want to minimize security of VVIPs so that they can easily attack them. GOSL must not listen to LTTE's declarations. |
