I will be joining the UPFA Campaign in Anuradhapura and have to leave.
LOL... When the going get tough, the AMERICAN GOMAYA get GOING. I almsot fell off the chair laughing.
We know how costly it is to go home these days. However, a Fisherman from hambanthota who came to the US to work now has all the time and money to go home for election campaigns :) :) LOL LOL... Aney Aney GOMAYOoo.. :)
American GOMAYA is STUCK.
1. NO SOURCES to back up his claims. I have given SOURCES for ALL MY CLAIMS. However AMERICAN has NO SOURCES - only emotional out bursts.
2. Everything he says is FULL of contradictions. First he says mervin has not been convicted of anything. Then he says : I don't approve Mervin's behavior, But with Thug Lords like Traitor Ranil in the UNP.........we have no chice but to keep joker's like Mervyn...... . So is admitting Mervin (and his KUDU LAL) is doing the dirty work of the rajapakshas.
3. Then he says JP should go to the people and convince them of Gotabayas corruption. But refuses to give protection for one of Srilankas greatest Generals. We all know how much both the LTTE and MR want JP dead.
Why is MR and his CRONY supporters soo afraid of JP? Its simple. because JP can expose their NUDITY and BANKRUPCY. So MR is going all the way to stop JP from campaigning and if he does venture out - to make sure JP is dead.
Already JPs office has been attacked. When the owner of the building goes and complains - the police arrests the owner and NOT the attackers. douzens of UNP and JVP activits have been assulted. JP is denied any security so that he cant campaign. Wlecome to the newest zimbarbway of the world. We all know where this election is heading.
Under MR - thugs, Murders, Contract Killers, Rapists and Drug Dealers run the show in SL.

Anus-am says he supports Sarath Fonseka....
But Anus-am's UNP Chief Whip, Joseph Michael P says that Sarath Fonseka is Operating an Abduction Squad which uses 'White Vans'....This was said in Parliament and to the BBC.
What Contradictions!!....
This is a Contradiction only if you want to make it one.
I said I totally SUPPORT the military effort against the LTTE. NOT any individual attempts to Kid nap people and extort ranson for the benefit fo the RajaPAKSHA family.

Colombo is like a Fortress. To the Credit of the Army, they have learned from the past and have been able to prevent any major LTTE attack on Colombo. however, hundreds of people are being kidnapped in white vans and taken away through military CHECK POINTS WITH OUT ANY PROBLEMS. So obviously there is some level of Corporation between some elements of the military and these abductors. Obviously these orders are coming from the top. Gotabaya order SF and SF orders CERTAIN officers in the filed in Colombo. there is no other way such a large number of ABDUCTIONS can happen in a city which is sooo heavily guraded.
OBVIOSLY the American GOMANYA and the Filthy rajaPASSA SWINES try to make this the same issue. This is how the rajaPASSAs survive, plunder and thrive. They use the war as COVER for all their CRIMES and PLUNDER.

Remember Gen Algama .. he was assassinated by the LTTE, while 'on stage' addressing a UNP political meeting (at about the same time they killed Gamini Dissanayake).
Gen Janaka Perera should have enough 'sense' not to 'offer' him-self as a target to the LTTE. (If he 'goes' this way, there is a danger he'd become another 'victim' to a LTTE bomb-blast .. and then he will be relegated to the band of 'forgotten heroes' .. same as Gen Algama). |

| According to the body guard, Dharmasiri, of slain MP Maheswaran it was the member of the President's Guard that shot and killed him. It's understandable why Janaka who is not a favourit of the Rajapakse brothers reject 'police body guards'. |

It is sad Major General Perera joined a team that betrayed the country by signing some stupid peace accord. There are lots of good stuff about Janaka Perera where he did not shoot captives during 1971 insurgency.
Contrary to some people's remarks, he clearly did not make money through the war by earning commissions. I am sure he had a reasonable level of wealth of his own and a very good education.
During UNP regime Janaka became a real show off .. He was promoted over many Lt Cols. He was also made a CO of the Plant Engineers. He was given an opportunity to further show off by making a road to Pidurutalagala summit. Then there are also rumours that equipment from Plant Engineers helped in mass graves in Batalanda saga .
Then there were other news items from Anuradhapura area when his boys massacared many SLFP supporters soon after Premdasa elected president.
Janaka Perera did some good during his HC post in Australia.. Then there were equally motivated other staff and organisers to back him.
Janaka aparently was at the right place at the right time when Rohana Wijeweera was arrested that earned him a further star.
Talking about show offs, he used to visit a relative in my old neighbourhood.. He had quite a few body guards even during times of low threat.. His team was so bold to put a Lorry rego (41 Sri) on a Car on his entourage which should be a 15 Sri..

JP is credible.
Ranil is credible.
UNP is credible.
UNP is competent.
UNP is clean.
MR is crook. MR is incompetent. MR and jumbo cabinet is making money while the people live on one meal per day.
IC is isloating Slanka.
There is no credibitlity with MR who won with the support of LTTe and paid money for that.
Anyone who goes to court to challenge MR and junta government will get white van rides, not justice.

Irrespective politics,
IT is the responsibility of the GOSL to provide him Security either officially or unofficially.
IT is the PResent govt's insecurity, which is responsible for him being a UNP - supporter.
