BTW Jehan's cricketing talents are average..does not even deserve to be in the POOL..again it is dad's influence..lolz

Jehan is good enough to play for CISIR, but not for SL.

even in the final of the asia cup mahela has said since murali doesn't like to ball in the power plays he had to give the ball to ajantha. captaincy is for all circumstances. you cannot be a captain for a certain set and not for another that you dont like. captains lead from the front

If Mahela can't use Murali when he wants Murali to bowl, It says a lot about Mahela's captaincy. I don't think Mahels leads from the front either, remember the shot he played in the Asia cup and got out. He should have been more sensible when his best inform player
is in the pavilion as a result of a mix up.

The Opposition BJP is 'fishing' on Hot Srilankan waters to get more seats in TN.

Looks like tigers will have more power if BJP comes to power in Delhi.
Tamil Nadu unit of the Shiv Sena on Monday appealed to the Centre to provide security and save Tamil Nadu fishermen from attack by Sri Lankan forces and help them eke out their livelihood.

Sri Lankan forces were killing hundreds of Tamils in that nation in the ethnic war for the last two decades. Now they have indulged in killings of Tamil fishermen also, the latest being the killing of two fishermen on July 12, Sena state organising secretary, C K Balaji told reporters here.

Considering the prevailing situation, Centre and state governments should take measures on a warfooting to put an end to this and provide security to fisheren to eke their livelihood in future, Balaji said.

Bawa???? I don't know what you mean.

Mr. Perakum,

No.. I am not from the CISIR. LOL....Even if I was there, I would have been retired by now. I am 59 years old. Probably my husband would have known people there.

However, before Nachchikuda is taken the security forces will have to secure and consolidate their hold on line Vellankulam-Tunukkai-Malavi on the road branching off from A32 to Mankulam.

HOw is SLDF going to decide.

Locate a division in NAchchikuda to Meet LTTE coming from Poonaryn area or send a division to Poonaryn and concentrate on Thunukai and mallavi ?

NEW DELHI: As Lok Sabha began a debate on confidence motion, government on Monday insisted that it had 276 MPs on its side, five more than the required majority, and rejected claims of NDA and Left parties that it had been reduced to a minority. ( Watch )

'I want to correct certain facts,' Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee said in his spirited speech on behalf of the government during the debate.

He said Leader of Opposition L K Advani has sought to 'build a case on high moral ground that this government has been reduced to a minority after withdrawal of support by the Left parties.'

However, the fact is that even after Left parties withdrew support of their 59 MPs on July 8, Samajwadi Party, with 39 MPs, extended support, Mukherjee said.

As a result, the total number of MPs of UPA and its allies was 276 which is well past the required majority number in the House having effective strength of 541.

'But the Leader of Opposition thought he has brought a case that government has lost majority,' Mukherjee said, adding 'whether or not we have the majority will be proven when buttons are touched (tomorrow). Please wait till then.
