Mrs Hajara
We were not talking about good captaincy..I was talking about hi batting form..Can you check and let me know his stats before the captaincy and after the Captaincy..why is he batting at #4..when was the last time he scored a 100 in a test or one day match..does he deserve his place in a 50 over match or even on T-20..Mind u..he was dropped in IPL 20-20 for some time and he did not score at all.
U spoke about Sana batting form dropping, is it the same with Mahela..
if not for his captaincy his form is awful he does not deserve a place (form only)
Shane Warne showed he can captain and do it well and win the championship..so why can't Murali

| Regarding the decision to bring in Arjuna, he was brought in because he was simply brilliant in his school cricket team. people are there to spot talent. if they havent spotted talent ajantha mendis would be still palying for the army team. even jayasuriya was choosen by arjuna to open the batting with kalu and given a free hand when there were lot of established opening batsmen in the team. |

Murali is not a limited over bowler, he is a attacking bowler more suitable of Tests, but with his experience he can contain the batsmen.
when will we watch a match that both Murali and ajantha playing in the same team.
IS it possible ? |

Parakum,
even in the final of the asia cup mahela has said since murali doesnt like to ball in the power plays he had to give the ball to ajantha. captaincy is for all circumstances. you cannot be a captain for a certain set and not for another that you dont like. captains lead from the front. |

what i said about Arjuna was preferred instead of Anura is not to say Arjuna is anyway not good enough but to point out political pull and may be influence by the selectors etc were also there..
I heard Mrs Hajara say Jehan's father is a great guy...I don't think that has anything to do with keeping this boy in the SL side.. |

I mentioned that President in India does not have executive powers like in SL
But, Abul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was not a true tamil. I think he is a muslim who spoke tamil
Muslims do not form a separate ethnic group based on religion in India. Muslims in Tamil Nadu are ethnically Tamil, (make up 5% of TN population). SL it is different as not all Muslims migrated from Tamil Nadu.
