Tell me one instance that Tamils don't get equal opportunities in Sri Lanka.


tell me why there is no president/PM post being given by two major political parties at least in rotation.

pl dont tell me this

It does not matter whether the leader is Sinhalese or Tamils. A capable intelligent Tamil leader is more beneficial to Sinhalese than a useless Sinhalese leader. Similarly, a capable intelligent Sinhalese leader is more beneficial to Tamils than a useless Tamil leader.


this is an easy way to escape from blame

Federal type solution for Tamils is again thinking in racial & religious lines.
Assuming you know the true history of Sri Lanka, ruled by kings till now. Tells us what would be honest & practical solution for all. Considering the people who died & hurt by this problem. Make peace statement.

the racist statement by sarath fonseka will come back to haunt the sinhala's.

ltte strategy is defence in depth and sarath statement yesterday taht ltte have pulled back their heavy guns that were in position ahead of ltte fdl's to behind these positions is ample evidence that fighting so far has been taking place in the buffer zone ahead of ltte main fdl's


in this phase of fighting alone in last 18 months ltte has killed more than 10'000 sla and wounded more than 20'000
gosl has no where to go and when this option fails it will be curtains.

all ltte needs is a stalemate /gosl needs an outright victory and that is not going to happen


yesterday alone 5 sla were killed and 28 injured that is according to sla website .

absolutly not. There is no reason for a tamil president with 74% sinhales in SL but could be a mp and pm even but president .. i dont think so

can a tamil live peacefully in colombo?


not only in colombo tamils live peacfully all over SL

Meanwhile, a soldier was reported wounded during a confrontation with a group of terrorists in general area Kodikamama, Jaffna, according to reports received from the Northern battle front.


Military reports further stated that a soldier has laid his life and 5 others wounded in the confrontations.

We should implement a system that is beneficial to all and also work in long term.

How do you satisfy Muslims?
How do you satisfy up-country Tamils?
How do you satisfy southern Sinhalese?
How do you satisfy Karaves?

etc etc etc
Federal type solution for one ethnic group is not an intelligent solution.
