History is repeating to witness the SLA's retreating soon.
In 1995/96 LTTE retreated the entire Jaffna peninsula and most of Wanni. Later in 2001 within days drove the SLA out of Vanni inflicting heavy human casualties. LTTE forces SLA to stretch itself and when the SL DF loses morale and get mental fatigue the inevitable will repeat itself. The fools do not learn even from their experience.
It's also true that losing young men mainly from poor families is not a problem for the elitist rulers. Every ruler comes to power with the promise of making peace and solving the problem but leaves office with philosophical enlightenment that minoorities have a genuine grievance and the 'enslavement' cannot solve the problem. |

The Indian delegation responded with an intelligence report that stated that the GoSL could not win against the LTTE militarily and the time frame Rajapaksa proposed was too long. They also told him that the All Party Representative Committee (APRC) was moving far too slowly.
