Some believe Fonseka..some believe nadesan..let us say we believe both
Then we do have a dangerous future..

Q: The LTTE aircraft, after its initial operations, have gone underground. Is that a reflection of the government's military operations working and the necessary systems to counter LTTE air attacks, which are now operational?

A: Our military actions are based on strategic needs of the given time. They are not carried out simply to demonstrate our capacity.

Q: The government has vowed to capture Wanni and finish the war by mid next year. The LTTE also keeps saying that they are fighting a defensive war. Is that alone not an admission that the government's military campaign has succeeded and the LTTE's offensive capability has been destroyed?

A: This is a very erroneous assessment that does not take into account our mode of operation and our grand strategy. Unfolding events will clearly illustrate this.

Eelamaya
Tamils are ready for 100 year war! Modayas must realize that they cannot hold on another 100 years.

Well so far that have done jack in a 30 year war..so lets see what will become of them in the next 100 years...sounding like Lal Kantha now...

Very soon SL Rupee notes will be printed in 1 Miilion denominations, just like Zimbabwe. Then will come 1 Billion Rp notes.

Then we will earn accordingly....whatcha gonna do about that?

Only the withdrawal of Sinhala toops from the nation of Tamil Eelam will end this economic collapse!

Last time we checked, they are withdrawing northwards and will stop once they cross the Muhumlai FDL FROM THE SOUTH..with VPs head in a gunny bag... then you can have your land back...sort of.

Incredible News:

COLOMBO (AFP, Jul 20, 2008) More than 5,000 Tamil Tiger rebels have been killed by Sri Lanka's military since the beginning of the year, the defence ministry said on Sunday.

The ministry said its latest figures showed 5,036 rebels and 446 of its own soldiers had died in fighting from the period beginning January and ending Friday night.

Folks, LTTE is finished! Because earlier estimate of Fonny was 5000 LTTE.

Now, the big question is where did he find the 36 extra?

What does it matter whether 1/3rd or 2/3rds.

In reality the number of deaths of
youth whether it be Tamils or Sinhalese and those who have sustained irrecoverable injuries.

Army and Terrorists will fight as you need two to tango.

But to those who sympathyse and support it has not hit home of the death and destruction nor let go of the past.
neither do they suffer. Thay is a pity.

What will be the future Sri Lanka Tamil population who are an intregal part of the country ???
18% from then now to what ?
Who benefits from the war ?
Arms dealers/comis kakkas/extortionists & those who sit back or hideaway and send youth as cannon fodder with a false dream.

Root cause is self centeredness & greed.
Will Pope Benedicts message to the youth in Sudney be heeded or remain an illusion ??
Only time will tell.

Its not too late to swallow the pride & chuck the paw for a warm shake.

When Tamil was a Compulsory Subject for All

http://www.island.lk/2008/07/20/features13.html

Middle School at Ananda

When I was admitted to the Middle School at Ananda College in 1952, Tamil was a compulsory subject for all students from Form I to Form III. Coming from a background as described above, I liked the subject from the word 'go'. Our Tamil teacher Sivapathasundaram had a striking resemblance to British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. Although young Anandians had never seen Sir Winston in the flesh, the perceived resemblance emanated from photographs of the war hero appearing in newspapers. Skin colour obviously had not come into the picture when Anandians decided to brand their Tamil teacher with the nickname 'Churchill'.

As a further reinforcement of ethnic harmony, the presence of five Tamil boys in my class at the premier Buddhist educational institution in the country was not without significance. If I remember right, Sinhala was a compulsory second language that they had to learn.

Yo, Berty!

can you remember me saying about almost a year back that there is no point in you or i trying to fight it out here?...

you will continue to support what you believe is right (at the given point of time), and i'll do the same from my end!

but, if you remember (Kanthun is sure to remember - lolz.), i made a prediction of all these events to come as soon as Sampur (not even Thoppigala) was captured by the SLDFs.

and, since then i have concentrated my energies on different things that aid and support 'what i believe in', and i am more than content about where 'I' stand!

how about you?
take this as just a how-do-you-do question from an old friend...

Kanthun (of you still 'read' LNP - lolz.) and berty, for your reference this is what i said on Friday, 29 September 2006 (almost TWO years back!) - this post is saved in my profile.

though no dates have been affixed to the milestones, on the whole, not bad a prediction, eh? :)

Hey people i have the following 'evolution' roadmap (with milestones) for the LTT, going farward...
- don't we all know that 'LTT always goes forward', even when testically withdrawing... :-))

(1) LTTE - Lankan Terrorists of Tamil Eelam
started by a bunch of terrorists with the genuine support of a lot of Tamils, and got the better of the SLAF on a number of occasions like EP, Mullativu, BIA, WTC, etc., due to failures of the GoSL politico-military leadership

(2) LTT - Looser Tamil Terrorists
right now - right here. post-CFA countless failed offensives against SLAF, and major losses due to SLAF offensives/advancements, culminating with the now caractersitic 'testical withdrawals'.
Tamils support dwindles at a rate - both inside Sri Lanka, as well as in the diaspora

(3) LT - Looser Terrorists (note the missing word 'Tamil')
looses Tamil support altogether. Tamils shun away and disassociate themselves. looses Pooneryn, EP, Mullativu and the whole coastline to SLAF offensives. Sea Tigers are officially declared extinct. Parayakaran and TamilSellam are holed up in Wanni with the left-over high-rungers and some cardres

(4) L - Loosers. (note the missing word 'Terrorists')
disarms totally. Parayakaran commits suicide. TamilSellam opens up a high-profile barber saloon in the Crescat. enters political stream. Sri Lanka celebrates with a mega 21-day carnival where ex-cardres of the L outfit frolic and frisk. for the first time in their lives, they get to eat ice cream - and it's free!

(5)
total and absolute peace dawns on mother Lanka

i leave it for you to set your own timelines for the last three milestones... now, my bros-on-fire, please don't be too pessimistic! :-)

of course, with the exception that Thamill Sellam is dead and gone! lolz.
