LTTE has shown little intelligence in decision making over the years. Tamil people are suffering mainly due to their short sighted vision.
In all seriousness, there is no differences at all between VP's vision and the vision adopted by governments of Sri Lanka past and present!
The Sinhalese want to establish a hegemonic Sinhala Buddhist rule with tolerance to others as long as their hegemony is not challenged.
Similarly, VP wants to establish a Tamil hegemonic rule in the north and east with tolerance to others, in exactly the same way as the Sinhalese.
Sinhalese accuse the Tamils as racists not realising that they are also likewise! |

Andyprem is speaking out of jealousy, as he usually does. Tamils in Canada have become one of the most successful immigrant groups. They can pay off all of Sri Lanka's debt and buy it off any time.
By the way, what is wrong with cleaning toilets. Your 'mahawansa inherited ego' may say do not do it, but, your fellows are doing same in Arab toilets! |

Are you being serious??? Please think before you type! Do the 'sinhalese' want SL to be a Sinhalese-only state? I don't know about which rock you were living under, but outside of the LTTE controlled areas, there are sinhalese, muslims, tamils, etc. etc. all living together! The fact that the Tamils challenged the Sinhala Buddhist Hegemonic rule that we are in this mess. Do you understand this?
If you ask any Tamil who support the LTTE, they will tell you that, once the Eelam is established, others can come live there including Sinhalese there will be no problems! But the catch is that, no one can challenge the Tamil hegemony. This is the scenario.

How are the Sinhalese racists like the LTTE and it's supporters?? So you expect sinhalese or any other race to come and live in this 'tamil-only' land if eelam is acheived?? Why were muslims kicked out of Jaffna then? Why were the Sinhalese kicked out of the east?? I thought that they were kicking other races out of 'eelamland' saying that this is tamil-only land???
Are you trying to say that LTTE wants to kick/kill all other races from the land, then establish their own state, and then will allow these races that they slaughtered back on their 'tamil-only' land?? You got to be dreaming! |

To develop TE, we need lots of people. Of course diaspora money will be flowing in... then, we need labor. SL of course has history of providing labor to Gulf countries. We would welcome all such skilled Sinhalese. |
