Pawan,
used it to identify the tragic circumstance of missing the judgment by days or weeks. his intention was to reside in UK wasn't it. if it was delivered earlier the fellow might have got to stay in UK.
His intension wasn't to stay in the UK but to see his family. He was lured into UK because SL govt found out that Pillayan was easily manipulatable as a puppet.
Karuna wasn't an ordinary person but a ruthless criminal who had nothing to fear from his friendly govt and as such he would have been expatriated under any circumstance. |

If the court is worried about authorities having records of him, why are they allowing UK to fingerprint the visa applicant. i detect some hypocrisy here.
When you go abroad you are photographed and fingerprinted weather you know it or not. More so with S Lankans.

Dr Brian Senewiratne, late Dr Wijemanne, Dr Karunaratne are intellectuals who can think 100 years ahead of ordinary Sinhalese and may be 1000 years ahead of racist Sinhalese.
He is a respected citizen of Australia and admired by many. |

In its ruling, the European Court of Human Rights 'took note of the current climate of general violence in Sri Lanka', according to a summary posted on the court's website.
The court agreed with British authorities that the deterioration in security did not create a general risk for all Tamils returning to Sri Lanka, but it found there were specific risk factors in the case they were examining.
Ah.. No need to get excited.
This judgment is valid for this particular case only. |

The drama is yet to be staged and he may turn out to be a 'poor' Karuna who showed no mercy to 400 SL policemen or 1000s of poor Tamils who contributed to him.
Karuna was a child solder, brainwashed, abused and discriminated against for being a easterner was merely following orders from VP.
Eelamists convenienly forget those facts. He will have a good defence in a war crimes tribunal if there is going to be a one. |

The man is a traitor and a coward and would probably die in Sorry Lanka. A rightful place for a coward.
They must build a peeing statue of him in TE.( A statue to pee on)
