You are right. East was never even part of tamil kingdom. It was illegally annexed to the Northern province under fake CFA.
this is how you twist things. I am talking about ltte's war strategy.ltte has one strategy in north and a different strategy in east. if you cant understand i am sorry about that.
LTTE ltte prefers gorilla warfare in east.outcome from the fighting in the north determine victory and bring govt to negotiating table without any precondition.

Soon after capturing the FDLs, the LTTE launched a massive onslaught against the military, resulting in almost all the area captured by the military from both the Riviresa and Ranagosa being recaptured by the Tigers within two days.
This is a decade old story.. still you live in those good old days ?

I see no difference.
now you are in jayasikkuru situation capturing ltte territory. so we have enough time to start offensive .we are waiting till sla further stretch into vanni and mullaitivu.

Two consecutive air raids targeting LTTE heavy weapons and boats - Mullaittiuvu
Sri Lanka Air Force carried out two consecutive air raids targeting LTTE heavy weapon deployment and LTTE logistic boats in the Mullaittiuvu lagoon area this morning, July 18.
Air Force spokesperson, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, speaking to defence.lk said that SLAF fighter jets raided LTTE's heavy weapon deployment in 2km west of Mullaittiuvu lagoon around 6.10 a.m.
Further speaking he added that the second air bombardment carried out around 6.20 a.m targeting 3 large-scale LTTE logistic boats at Mullaittiuvu lagoon. Citing the pilots, spokesperson confirmed that 2 boats were completely destroyed while the other is still inflames.

Have you ever seen the sight of a Supersonic aircraft flying overhead at low altitude?
since I am living in war zone I have experince in watching airstikes by SLAF and most of the time target is civilian places and their boats. |
