Didn't we have a mass-grave episode some 10 years ago under CBK in jaffna already?

what make you to think this is a propaganda ? in your terms TSUNAMI received bigger propaganda than you have specified above !

Tsunami killed 80,000 at once. That has got to be major news for a month or so. But the last episode of Jaffna mass graves was all based on a lies, because it was common knowledge that Tigers killed so many civilians in the late 80's untill 1996 in Jaffna, and the mass graves was totally blamed on the government during that time.

It was baseless. It was false. It was hateful. that is why it was propaganda

Sri Lankan politics is cheap.

where is RanilW nad his big mouth.

this is where he should talk.

He said that under HQI Sarath Prema s orders, police took away the hotel owner for recording a statement and forced him to make one against him and his supporters threatening him to be sent to jail for an year.

Mr. Janaka Perera says that the police is under the influence of the higher authorities of the government and acts unfairly.

Commenting on provision of security, Mr. Janaka Perera said that ruling party chief Minister candidate had been provided with a security squad of 70 personnel (28 Special Army personnel, 28 police officers and 12 home guards) while not a single personnel had been deployed for the security of himself.

He said that former Chief Minister Berty Premalal Disanayaka had no threat other than the rejection by the voters. He further said that himself was under severe threat but even the letters written to authorities in this regard were unheeded. However, he said that no circumstances would prevent him mingling with people for election campaigning.

HQI of Anuradhapura police station denied Mr. Perera s allegations and said that the arrested person would be produced in courts for an identification parade today (16).

He further stated that he had received a complaint that a person who was riding a bicycle on the road in front of the hotel was assaulted. The victim was in hospital for several days and he had lodged a complaint that he was assaulted. The HQI said the police was interrogating an eyewitness to initiate legal action.

Remember we are not allowed there. So, we don't know the true distance.

Sri Lanka is the only country that there are areas where it is out of bound for Sinhala people and the Sri Lankan govt does not change it.

Thu, 17 Jul 2008, 12:14 GMT

A shop owner, who was abducted by the paramilitary EPDP group in Chengkaladi in Ea'raavoor police division on June 19, was found dead and his body was recovered Thursday in the backyard of the EPDP office, which is guarded by the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) of the Kommaathu'rai camp. The location was discovered following the information revealed by the EPDP personnel to the TMVP paramilitary operatives in a 'Police interrogation', according to informed sources. An EPDP person, Kaliyappan Gunaseelan, who was abducted by the TMVP, after Sureshkumar's disappearance, was recovered dead near a pond in Vaazhaichcheanai on 27 June.
