Instead of making Sri Lanka the warehouse of depleted weapons of China, Pakistan and India, the extremist president Rajapakse must be encouraged to find a political solution that gives an extensive devolution to the minorities to govern their traditional homeland.
Rajapakse should be encouraged to strike a deal that grants Tamils substantial autonomy in their own homeland areas. If not, the war will drag on, and Sri Lanka's government may find itself classified alongside the regimes in Burma, Zimbabwe, and Sudan as an international pariah. |

according to 'Nale Theory' Tamils in real sense, those who are actually living in SL, are down to 3.9% of the SL population. Just put some logic into this percentage. what country would give extensive devolution to a ethnic minority of 3.9%. Very difficult unless the Sinhala nazi govt is extremely generous. |

Gerrysl,
Nobody can dispute the long established fact that Tamils and Muslims have been living in the Northeast from the beginning which is immemorial. They must have the right to elect their leaders without any hindrance from the leaders of the majority (ie., autonomous) who have an equal and not more, rights in live in their homeland within a united island unhindered by any community.
If this arrangement hurts or hinders any community from furthering their live or progress they must spell out so that myths and unfounded fears can be avoided. |

Islam was founded 1200 or 1400 years ago.
This is like Christianity as some one told.
the world was created some 7000 years ago.
Tamils were living in the North but they were speaking ELU.
That is why Tamils introduce Z and H to every tamilnadu - tamil word and trying to make a new tamil language for SL - tamils.
Now their SL - Tamil is a Soup of every language including Sinhala and Portugeese. |

The Srilankan Tamil history
Why its so difficult to prove and find some evidence of Tamil history.
Where ever one digs deeper, they find ruins of Sinhalese history. |
