Yuvraj will never forget that delivery which had him beaten and bowled, it was a beauty isn't it?
it was a beauty, i think will be shown everytime Yuvraj goes to bat or every time Mendis comes into bowl
It is very similiar to Shane warne' first ball bowling Mike Gatting's around the legs..

What sad about this is that one for the dead boy is a Tamil from Wattala.
Captain, What are you trying to say???
Why do you want to label as Tamil and Sinhalease???
In such situation, no one look at the victim and screen whether he is Tamil, Sinhala or Muslim!

The delivery which goes straight from Ajantha is a fine delivery very hard to pick.
I was bit surprised that, Mahela did not use for his full quota to go for the kill, the winning margin would have been greater.
Murali also bowled very cleverly, trying to attack more on the leg side instead of going for wickets...that was good a ploy by the champion spinner.

well I was also a bit surprised and the commentators said the same thing..but Mahela captained the side extremly well, smart bowling changes and bringing in Mendis at the 10th over within the first Power play was out of this world..I still worry about Mahela's batting form but I think Kapu will be a great batsman for the future SL team.
We need to find someone in the middle order..I hope Silva or Dilshan can click and get a big score in the coming series against India..
I don't think Medis's figures of 6 for 13 will ever be broken in Asian CUP..

That was a brilliant move, by Mahela.
And Mahela is very lucky to have the luxury of bowlers so much in variety, where other teams lack.
Just imagine, when Lasith Malinga and Farveez Maharoof, return Malinga's yorkers and Maharoof's slow off cutters will come very handy for the skipper.

Yes, it was great match.
I think Sanath should have won the 'Player Of The Match' yesterday for his brilliant effort under tremendous pressure, which ultimately took the game away from India.
Kandy SC is a superb unit, no doubt!

How about Fernando your expectation.
Malinga lost something most players at there mid Carrier.
Mendis a winner ...great deliverys...but after screening guys will play him quite well..will he be able to bring delicacy to his armory is the matter left unknown.
Murali made it throughout his carrer...bringing in changes and his action payed enough to became the best spinner in the world.
upcoming home series a show of atractions...if not member changes. |
