In the not too distant future, when Sorry Lanka becomes a state of India, it will contribute well to the Indian national team
It is better to be under Indians than Canibal Velu.. |

Sanath J is my all time favourite. He has unbelievable luck too. Combine that with his talent and strength, simply unstoppable. A crown of pride for Sri Lanka. |

What a Match? what a win....
Congratulation to the SL team...
What a bowling performance by Mendis..don't forget Sana boy's 100..
India were simply stunned..
I was so happy to see Arjuna on the stage..last time he was there, I saw him lifting the world cup in 1996. I have the greatest picture of the world cup (limited edition) where Arjuna getting the cup from Late Beniziar Bhutto.
I watched the whole match live and the presentation..
Excellent match..great win..

He has unbelievable luck too.
what luck your talking about..If your talking about R.P Singh trying to catch him..that was not a chance. he did not touch the ball, he was no where near it at the end.
The 26 runs he took off R.P was clear hitting, smashed all over.
at 39 he will put all the youngsters in the shade with his fitness.
I want him to get a 100 on his 40th birthday and play the next world cup |

Berty,
I am not talking about yesterdays match. In fact, I could not watch it live. When I say luck, i meant his stars working for him everytime the selctors want to drop him for some reason. Sanath J has replied with his batting to each of those over these years. |

I thought you were talking about his innings..
yes your right he had the luck and he scores at the right time to get back into the side..
He did it when he got dropped just before the England tour and smashed the english bowlers all around when he had that massive opening partnership with Upul. then he was dropped for the Asian cup and failed in the few matches at the start at the IPL before he started hammering every ball (after Sachin came back to the Mumbai side) in the T-20 tournament and that prompted SL selectors to pick him for the side and what a player..what a tournament he had
Do You know he has scored 20 hundreds after the age of 30, he went passed Inzy for the most # of runs in ODI and he has the highest # of sixers.
we should all take a BOW....
