That was in vain.......a total of an excess of 300 is a must on that track.

It seems that pitch is not helping. Ishant is paying few tricks with pace.

10.1 Pathan to Jayasuriya, FOUR, 125.3 kmph gentle seam-up delivery outside off and Jayasuriya blasts it off the back foot through covers.
Irfan replaces RP. No slips for Jayasuriya.

Ramz,

We need that initial breakthroug either of Sehwag or Gambir very early to put the Indians on the back foot.

They will not take risks to play upon that, like Sanath does for us.
