And we are still not bombing kilinochchi flat out? why, what is the reason if we are so insensitive as you say and violate all those human rights?
If you do that, do you think the Tamils will be sitting in a corner and praying to the Buddha, you will also see the effect in the Sinhala south.

It is too late now, but still they must be prosecuted for two reasons. Firstly to stop future such incidents, secondly, to bring some fairness, though negligible, to those who suffered.
Talking of prosecution is worth considering if Tamils were behaved like since 1983.
If any one suggest prosecution by now,he should be punished.

Everyone knows the Mahavamsa, the racist fiction of Sinhala Buddhists demonizes the Tamils and denies the Tamil connection
what i cannot understand is the logic behind this reasoning.
Mahawansa was written by sinhalese monks.
they resided in Mahavihara.
Mahavihara is a great buddhist monastry at that time and is famouse around the world as a great seat of learning
Buddhagosha and the rest of the tamil monks came to mahavihara to learn buddhism more and traslated the works in mahavihara.
If mahavihara promoted fictionalised racist writings would it have been so famous around the world so as to attract the monks who are tamil to it.
even then would it have helped these monks to translate its works.

Tamils were bashing Buddhism Until I mentioned in the forum at one time tamils were Buddhists and Buddhagosha was a tamil.
After that many things changed and finally appeared buddhist tamils in the Tamilnation.org and Thivya's reference come that.
Thivya says Tamil Buddhists are praying. That tells everything about her knowledge. |

Amphibious landings are the most effective but should be timed to perfection and cordinated. if something goes wrong, disaster.
So, let us wait until we get Vidthalthivu and thunnukkai/mallavi as the next stage.

This is where you lost your plot.
In 6th century there was no Tamil Nationalism. No demand for a separate state etc.
All Sri Lankan Tamils were Sri Lankans. As you know there were Sri Lankan Tamil kings.
We were much wiser those days.
