The Mahavamsa records that Buddhaghosa was born into a Brahmin family in the kingdom of Magadhi.He is said to have been born near Bodh Gaya, and to have been a master of the Vedas, traveling through India engaging in philosophical debates.Only upon encountering a Buddhist monk named Revata was Buddhaghosa bested in debate, first being defeated in a dispute over the meaning of a Vedic doctrine, and then being confounded by the presentation of a teaching from the Abhidharma.Impressed, Buddhaghosa became a Buddhist monk and undertook the study of the Tripitaka and its commentaries.
On finding a text for which the commentary had been lost in India, Buddhaghosa determined to travel to Sri Lanka to study a Sinhalese commentary that was believed to have been preserved.

Have you also forgiven the sinhala thugs who killed innocent Tamils in 1983..it is almost 25 years..
It is too late now, but still they must be prosecuted for two reasons. Firstly to stop future such incidents, secondly, to bring some fairness, though negligible, to those who suffered. |

OK, then how do you call the Sinhala Buddhist monks who were planned, guided, instigated and in some cased participated the racial riots from 1956 to 1983.

This is beyond the expectations of person who says he is impartial and an elder.
To be very honest, If I knew that tamils died in 1983 were people like BERTY, I would have enjoyed looking at them to see how they, I mean, how Berty was running here and there while KRT is around his neck. |

I don't think they can prosecuted for something that happened 25 years ago..BUT the Gosl can do one thing for those affected in 1983. Pay compensation of some sort.
This is where if someone ask to show any discrimination issues we have one..rem the Mavilaru and sluice gates issues..the poor farmers were given (on paper) a compensation deal for their suffering..why not the Tamils for the 1983 riots?

Everyone knows the Mahavamsa, the racist fiction of Sinhala Buddhists demonizes the Tamils and denies the Tamil connection. There is enough evidence to prove that Buddhagossa was a real Tamil. And the Hindu Brahmins were totally against the Buddha and Buddhism from the days of Gautama Buddha.
