Why was Karuna packed to UK with a Fake PP by the Gosl in the first place if he has no issues with Pillayan?

OK Nacho,
The main reason Karuna was packed to UK by Gota on a fake PP is to simply get away from the threat of Pillayan and Gosl could not protect him..
all of a sudden Karuna gets back..initially there were articles and talk about him joining LTTE then there was denial from LTTE and now karuna saying this..it does not add up.
Now that is Fishy..I feel this is a preplanned interview initiated by the Gosl.
We also can't rule out the following
1) Karuna & Pillayan rivalry
2) Karuna joining LTTE
3) Karuna takes over and Pillyan goes back to LTTE
4) Karuna and Pillayan get together |

Karuma was awarded knighthood.What travel papers Karuma had when he was deported.British?Did he get a PP with the name of Tony Bliar.We must be really proud to be SRi lankans .Military Chiefs,CJ,Central bank ,Governor,PMG,IGP,GMR

Berty,
Karuna going to UK and sending him to UK two different issues.
After landing in UK and issues with UK Authorities,things did changed in Colombo.
GOSL has gone through very important and delicate negotiations with TMVP.
Most important part is not any of them..../How GOSL going to hold Karuna/Pilian and Douglas to gether.../
seems things getting tricky in Colombo.

GOSL can tell them 'Calm down guys'. Other wise to try to make them attached to each other is a stupid move, if they try to do.
Even in personal life, I could never make introductions among my tamil friends from Jaffna and Batti.
It is very different from Sinhala people.
The best GOSL can do is Enact the SOCIAL DISABILITIES ACT which GOSL tried to enact in 1955 or so. |

Berty,
Karuna going to UK on a fake PP is a master strategy of GOSL. I do not wish to discuss the details here. It involves certain aspects like Karuna's being a mass murderer (his history being a negative aspect when a CM post comes into equation) in the past and rivalry that existed between Pilliyan faction and karuna and karuna's personal interest to join his family until the dust settled.
Things got a little out of hand when Karuna got caught in UK. and LTTE and the pro-LTTE thought they had him. But was disappointed when they couldnt even take him to courts in UK for alleged HR crimes.
The news that Karuna would join LTTE when he returned was coocked up by a few news agencies loyal to LTTE.
and the truth is, Karuna would not reconcilliate with LTTE because,
1. He has woved to defeat the LTTE to win liberation to his ppl inthe East. And he cannot ask for more when Pilliyan heading his Party has done just that. If he goes against the wind, he will be doing a utter stupid political hara kiri and possible death by either party (LTTE or rival gang)
2. LTTE killed Karunas brother regie, after his defection.
3. Now, karuna knows there is a better life in doing peaceful politics for their ppl in the east than getting caught in a stupid war perpetrated by VP.
and his words praising the SLA in the current context of war against the LTTE would lead to the projection of MRs popularity and cause the moral high grounds for defeating the LTTE..
that is the situation in a nutshell.
Ur 'fishy' story, I can say is nothing but a dim hope for the survival of the LTTE at least in this final moments.. nothing else. |

KAruna has made him very unpopular for many reasons.
I think, GOSL is protecting him and giving security to protect him from LTTE. |
