Ayyo... LTTE supporter's dream of Karuna joining LTTE was like a premature ejaculation. Dream shattered once again.
Sometimes the sheer brilliance of GoSL boot lickers astounds me, it seems this gerbil actually expected Karuna to just come out and say ''hey guess what, I decided to join the LTTE'' as he landed in Sri Lanka :):):)
Besides it was not LTTE supporters who were publishing and disecting the so called Karuna re-switch now were they, this Tamil was very skeptical of the whole thing from the start :):) |

Anyone with a basic graduate degree from a recognized university can apply to immigrate to the USA as an independent immigrant. The Immigration authorities of the United States will assess each applicant for their language proficiency and their skill level. Based on the assessment they will be given a Visa to the United States.
Instead of doing that Sri Lanka's Commander Lt.General Sarath Fonseka applied for the lottery visa like an uneducated, unskilled person who has no hope other than believing in his luck.
Mr. Fonseka didn't apply as an independent immigrant to enter the United States, why? LOL :))

Why do not you apply and see it. if so how many would migrate to the USA.

That is the basic requirement. If you want, you can call the US embassy and find out.

Sri Lankan military says it seized a key rebel base 34 killed in other fighting
Associated Press, Fri July 4, 2008 10:21 EDT . BHARATHA MALLAWARACHI - Associated Press Writer - COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - (AP) Sri Lankan troops captured a key Tamil Tiger rebel base in the island's north Friday, a day after a wave of battles in the same region killed 32 rebels and two soldiers, the military said.
Soldiers took control of Michael Base in the rebel stronghold of Mullaitivu district after three days of fighting, military spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara said.
He said casualty details were not immediately available.
Fighting has escalated in this Indian Ocean island in recent months, with the military stepping up ground assaults and air strikes on rebels in line with a government pledge to capture rebel-held territory and crush the insurgents by the end of the year.
Also other clashes took place in the Vavuniya, Mannar and Welioya regions bordering the rebels' de facto northern state on Thursday, said a defense ministry official, speaking on condition of anonymity due to government policy.
Several battles in Mannar left 24 guerrillas and two soldiers dead, he said. Twenty-five rebels and 10 soldiers were wounded.
Other battles in Vavuniya and Welioya killed eight rebels, and wounded 12 Tamil Tiger fighters and four soldiers, the official said.
Rebel spokesman Rasiah Ilanthirayan could not immediately be reached for comment on any of the reported fighting.
It was not possible to independently verify the military reports because journalists are banned from the northern jungles where much of the fighting takes place. Each side commonly exaggerates its enemy's casualties and downplays its own.
The rebels have been fighting since 1983 to create an independent state for ethnic minority Tamils, who have been marginalized by successive governments controlled by ethnic Sinhalese. More than 70,000 people have been killed in the conflict.
The government has vowed to end the insurgency by the end of this year but the island's army chief, Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka, told reporters Monday that it may take another year to defeat the rebels.Discuss this story

In this regard Karuna & Pillian are good examples to LTTE.
Peacemaker Sri is a Sinhala Chauvinistic racist, he wants all Tamils to be subordinated to the Sinhalese and live as second class citizens in their own country.
Karuna and Pillaiyan are eating out of Sinhala hands, they can't talk back, all they can do is listen and do whatever the Sinhalese wants them to do, he wants all the Tamils to be like them.
I think the Tamils should be more careful with these type of Sinhala Buddhist chauvinistic Wolf's in a peace mantle.

It does not matter whether the ruler is Tamil or Sinhalese. What matters is whether he is Sri Lankan or not.
But, modayas in the South would not vote unless you are Buddhist and Sinhala. Even low cast Sinhalayas have difficulty.
Unless Sinhalayas get out of racial bias, Tamils and minorities keep suffering. Thats what at the end Tamils decided to draw the border between their homelands and SInhala homelands.
