In SL there are Singhalese Christians & Tamil Christians.
When Christians were asked, Are you Singhalese or Tamil, they say one or the other.
But why Muslims didn t fall under Sinhalese or Tamil? Muslim is religion not language. |

The interests of India & SL tamils are slowly converging now !
The high powered Indian delegation that recently visited Sri Lanka urged the government to re-merge the north and east, the main opposition claims.
The United National Party (UNP) says India strongly advised Sri Lanka to provide a political solution to the national question based on the 13 amendment to the constitution.
The merger of the north and east provinces under the Indo-Lanka agreement, was ruled illegal by the Supreme Court, last year.
The government was also urged to get the consensus of southern political parties through the All Party Representative Committee (APRC).
National Security Advisor MK Narayanan, Defence Secretary Vijay Singh and Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon made an unannounced visit to Sri Lanka last month

sla says captured ltte michaels base in janakapura
this base they say is 200 sq metres area /sla attempt at base 14 was defeated with heavy losses 2 weeks back now the story of camp michael.
karuna said ltte now fighting adefensive war in the north /true when sla dieing like flies on that front why launch a counter offensive .COUNTER offensive will come in the east .
sarath and gosl think that ltte stupid to be provoked by their stupid statements to launch any rash counter offensive .

it is the sla which is in ahurry to win this war soon /for both political and economic reasons /ltte just needs to defend in the north and attack in the east
tamil elam will be attained inspite of gosl /and sla that is acertainty |

If Tigers & SLA draw, SLA lose.

14 based is not being used for a long time. these follows are thinking that capture of that base is a great victory.wake up from dream world.
What are you saying it was not a 'not being used' base and was not captured by SLA? Meaning Thalaivar was lying?

No mate, the base was not being used but the SLA suffered heavy losses from the 'Auto-activated ground defence system' manned by military spec ASIMO robots. |

How on earth the Sorry 'pathetic' Lankan army, airforce and navy with superior manpower and firepower, attacking on four fronts, is unable to defeat a few thousand LTTE cadres fighting in slippers with minimal firepower?
That is the sorry story of the Sorry Pathetic Lankan military. These buggers will never defeat the LTTE in a thousand years.
The so called victories achieved in the last year and a half will be reversed in one quick sweep by the Tigers soon. Unknown to the sinhala public the sinhala forces are dying like flies in battle and the pathetic army commander is slowly realising the mammoth task his men are facing and keeps on revising his date of 'final victory' which he knows he is never going to achieve. Real saddo! |
