Mr.Brown,
If the author was someone I felt respect for and wanted to learn from, I would read in greater detail. Even if I do not understand, just by reading, I share in the discoveries of that person - who would then be my guru for that particular matter. Then I would feel the experience as if I were s/he. I would do this with anyone who would write democtratic solutions and also with someone who feels for this forum. Others are for mere exchange of information.

Thalaivar,
Laxman Tharmarajah, Sahil Bhasin and Alan Cutter among the State's highest VCE achievers
Congratulations to all of them and with much feelings for Laxman Tharmarajah and his family. Must send this to the Australian High Commission in Colombo which rejected student visa to high Tamil achievers.

Thanks Mr. Brown. Good to know you are involved. You are just even though sometimes you seem unfair.

America s State Department has cited credible reports of government involvement in extra-judicial killings, and complicity in the recruitment of child soldiers by its allies. Sri Lanka s mission in Geneva responds to criticism by calling the former head of the UNHRC, Louise Arbour, unqualified to monitor human rights in the country.
Normally Americans are blind to atrocities committed by their 'friendly' states. |

We needed a 'Man' for tough times .. and we've got One. MR is prevailing over VP, and will ultimately bring him (or his successor) 'to table' .. for a serious discussion on the 'next phase' .. PEACE & DEVELOPMENT and Political Links to the Center. (I hope there will be agreement & accord to a generous power-devolution program).
First, though .. MR will have VP to 'give up' his vaunted military 'trappings' .. like his long-range guns (artillery), naval & air 'wings', suicide brigade/s etc. (That is what MR is about, at this time). |
