Earlier one of the peelamists said LTTE tried to put Karuna behind bars in UK. going by your story of GOSL being disappointed of Karuna not rotting in jail, I am wondering whether what the LTTE tried to do was a contract given to them by LTTE to put Karuna behind bars. you now confuse me more than Confucius.
Read my post very carefully.
I think I said LTTE would never infrom the police.
If they knew about Karuna they would have taken him out.
If LTTE informed about Karunas where abouts then Karuna would surely given the British police everything about LTTE but karuna spilled the beans about the GoSL and the Rajafoxese brothers. So it only stands to reason that it was the GoSL who got Karuna arrested.

Insufficient evidence .
If there was Insufficient evidence to charge Karuna then maybe the same for VP too.
But it is the GoSL who was most disappointed.
They thought they could get rid of Karuna by letting him rot in jail but as we all know it was not meant to be.
Guess who is the most worried these days?
Guess they have out smarted themselves this time.
It wasn't sinhales who were gunning for him in UK, and now
he is out I hear lot of sour grape stories. I don't know whether
GOSL is disappointed, but i am sure some jobless lawyer in London
like Bruce Fain might be happy counting money you guys gave him
to get Karuna amman. |

Unlike GoSL who is bone dry, LTTE has no money problems, ( Lots and Lots of ATM and CC around) So don't worry about the money LTTE spends. |

Think Logically: LTTE has no interest in putting Karuna behind bars. It has never tried to do this their only interest would be to kill him.
With the breakdown of east Pilliyan is the one who worked with the SLA/STF on the ground and when everything was said and done wanted his reward. Karuna was the road block so he tried getting rid of Karuna. Pilliyan was able to get rid of many Karuna loyalist and not Karuna. GOSL problem was protecting Karuna from LTTE and Pilliyan.
GOSL did not care whether he was in jail or settled in UK. But not the problem has come back. Time will tell. |
