What happened to all the hollering about war-crime suing?

how comes?


His wife and children did not commit any crimes and they too cannot live in the country of birth because of the crimes he committed. I know it does not sound fair for all the people who had to suffer because of him. But that is the reality.

KARUNA, We Welcome to SRI LANKA. Please start your struggle again to liberate Tamil people from Sinhala Terrorists. You know how many innocent people killed by Sinhala Terrorists (Army, Navy, Air Force and Police) while you are in the prison in the UK? Do not forget your people and your land belongs to your people.

Insufficient evidence .
If there was Insufficient evidence to charge Karuna then maybe the same for VP too.
But it is the GoSL who was most disappointed.
They thought they could get rid of Karuna by letting him rot in jail but as we all know it was not meant to be.
Guess who is the most worried these days?
Guess they have out smarted themselves this time.

Briton is one of the safest places for a lot of war criminals from around the world. Karuna's case would have been a precedence setting case and UK did not want that so it too the easy way out saying that they did not have sufficient evidence.

Referring to the news item headlined Sri Lanka Economy on a Shaky Platform, Kotelawala said, 'What a shocking statement by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Mr Ajith Nivrad Cabraal! First, he says that Sri Lanka s economy is on a shaky platform. Secondly, he says that the action taken by the country against terrorism is destabilizing the economy. Thirdly, he says, if the situation is not resolved, Sri Lanka s economy will be burdened with a war for another 30 years, which is directly contradictory to the views of the President and the Secretary of Defence.'


Looks like Central Bank Governor will be branded as ' Terrorist ' too !

Maybe there really was insufficient evidence
or
they made a deal( in exchange for the whole story about the Rajafoxes brothers and the GoSL and all their war crimes.

Things are really never what they seem.

Earlier one of the peelamists said LTTE tried to put Karuna behind bars in UK. going by your story of GOSL being disappointed of Karuna not rotting in jail, I am wondering whether what the LTTE tried to do was a contract given to them by LTTE to put Karuna behind bars. you now confuse me more than Confucius.

This is quite possible the man who created the slogan 'Ali-Koti Givisuma' while in JVP is now calling the JVP as Tiger Paw.
