So can some body explain why should DPU target AGA? Was he LTTE on government salary?
So after all, GOSL spend millions to train these DPU units and they go secretly behind enemy lines risiking their own lives to take lives of innocent civilians :((
See my earlier post. It is a waste after all to train these DPUs. Why do we need special units to attack a civilian on a motor cycle??
Who killed this Government Agent and Why ?
DPU may not know whether he is AGA or a ltte area leader/member when targetiing that motorbike. what dpu is doing is try their luck to kill some key ltte leader who may travel on that way. when they do this kind of coward operation they have to aim their target hiding in a place which is not so closer to the target spot so they cant correctly identify whether ltte member is travelling in the motorbike or any other vehicle. they may be successful in eliminating key ltte leaders if they do it closer to FDLs. when dpu attemt to target key leader deep inside tiger territory it will be difficult for them to differentiate ltte and civilians.so they depend on luck.some times they may be successsful. most occasions civilians were caught in this kind of coward operation.
There are other instances where dpu is deliberately targetting innocent civilians to terorise people and to intimidate them to give up their support to ltte. DPU want create a fear mentality among civilians and ltte about their safety.civilians will question ltte's strength and their inability to prevent dpu attack.people will lose confidence on ltte and ltte lose the support from tamil people.

when Tamilnut reports anything always the reference point is the nearest SLA camp, and dead LTTE gods were watching who was doing it.
LTTE has fixed claymores every where in wanni.
some times,when people get caught in those claymores.
LTTE has highly covered the Wanni grounds with land mines in order to stop civilians escaping and to stop any infiltrations.
Few days ago one DPU member was killed when his claymore accidently exploded when he attempted to target a civilian's bus in Killinochchi.
HOw do these Tamils feel when LTTE blow up Buses and Trains full of People in the south.
They feel this is a retaliatary attack on tamil civilians. you can see before each of these attack in south there were attacks and killing of tamil civilians in the north and east. the party who attacks civilians first to be blamed for any reataliation taking place for that attack. |
